Turning your pieces into cash could not be simpler. The Goss and Crested China Club has been buying all Goss and Crested China for more than 25 years and has much experience of importing from abroad.
This is very simple to do. The manufacturer's mark is usually written on the base( e.g.. GOSS, WILLOW, CARLTON). If not describe it as unmarked - many were produced without a mark.
Measure the height, or length if it is longer than it is tall.
Describe the piece briefly as best you can so that we can identify the piece accurately. Most Goss has an inscription written on the base, such as a Yarmouth Ewer. If your collection comprises many of these artefacts and pots, just count them!
A coat of arms is usually found on the piece and is an important part of its identity. However, not all crested china has a crest - some pieces have printed pictures, flowers or similar decorations. Any of these can add value, so please mention them.
Condition. Please let us know if the item is perfect or has any chips, cracks, faded decoration or lid missing.
Large Collections. For very big collections, Lynda Pine can arrange to call and visit you.
