William Henry Goss' son, Adolphus, introduced a range of coloured cottages in 1893. These were reproductions in miniature of historic
buildings, churches and famous cottages. Great care was taken to ensure exact replicas - if a front door to an original building was repainted,
Goss altered his model accordingly!
The Arcadian Factory produced a whole range of coloured figures. This one is "June".
The Carlton factory used the Wembley Lion on their British Empire Exhibition Souvenirs.

W H Goss models of Shakespeare's House and Ann Hathaway's Cottage. These were two of the most popular Goss Cottages and were modelled
in various sizes. Busts of Shakespeare and Ann Hathaway were also made, as was a model of the font in which Shakespeare was baptised.
W H Goss Model of a Manx Cottage. Other Manx Models made by Goss include the Manx Spirit Measure, the Manx Peel Pot and the Laxey Urn. Other
factories modelled Kelly from the Isle of Man, the Laxey wheel and the Douglas Clock Tower.
W H Goss Model of Burns' Cottage. A Bust of Burns was also made in various
sizes, and Robert Burns' Grace can be found inscribed on small Goss vases
and beakers.
W H Goss Model of The Old Maids' Cottage at Lee, Devon. The original remains unchanged, and is currently surrounded by wild fuschia, in a narrow country
lane, leading to a rocky bay.

The caption on the square sundial reads
"Let others tell of storms and showers,
I'll only count the sunny hours".
The captions used on the Grandfather Clocks include "Make use of time, let not advantage slip" and "Gude Morn".
W H Goss made a number of parian figurines from the 1860's, with production
ceasing well before 1900. This particular Country
Boy and Girl Pair is
the only one known in existence
